A sign that global trade is also possible by sailing ship. With the transport by sailing ship we can show that a fast transport from Mexico to Europe is not without alternative. The real distance that has to be covered becomes visible. During the harvest period from November to February, the coffee beans are prepared for consumption. The transport therefore only has to happen once a year. This lays the foundation for our transport logic and the need for the fastest possible transport by container ship is therefore not given. We just have to adjust to it sensibly in the logistical planning.

[/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_image src=”https://www.teikeicoffee.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/MG_7169E-scaled.jpg” _builder_version=”4.9.10″ _module_preset=”default” alt=”Entladung 2020_Christoph Bogner” title_text=”Spaß bei der Entladung 2020″ disabled_on=”off|off|on” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.9.10″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ disabled_on=”on|on|off” sticky_enabled=”0″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.2″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.teikeicoffee.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/MG_7169E-scaled.jpg” alt=”Entladung 2020_Christoph Bogner” title_text=”Spaß bei der Entladung 2020″ show_bottom_space=”off” _builder_version=”4.9.2″ _module_preset=”default” transform_scale=”80%|80%” module_alignment=”center” animation_style=”zoom” animation_intensity_zoom=”4%”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.9.10″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”23px|auto||auto||” custom_padding=”5px||39px|||”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.0″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_blurb title=”Everything on schedule” icon_alignment=”left” content_max_width=”900px” content_max_width_tablet=”” content_max_width_phone=”” content_max_width_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.9.10″ _module_preset=”default” header_level=”h2″ header_font=”Oswald|600||on|||||” header_text_align=”left” header_text_color=”#000000″ header_font_size=”28px” header_letter_spacing=”2px” header_line_height=”2.4em” body_font=”Bariol||||||||” body_text_color=”#000000″ body_line_height=”1.8em” custom_margin=”|||0px||” custom_padding=”0px|0px|0px|||”]

A slowed-down transport that does exactly what we need (i.e. a transport of coffee beans from Mexico to Europe) does not have to be plannable to the day. It is important to show today that in a globalised world not everything has to be plannable and that wind and weather are forces of nature. Of course, it is still annoying when delays in the crossing are not caused by wind and weather or bad planning, but are mainly due to the preference for container ships and (in our understanding) to illegitimate standards of port management. This will be the case again this year. Once again, the Timbercoast will have to pay enormous sums for permission to load goods and anchor in ports at all. This puts them on a par with container ships. Above all, this is due to a disproportionate view of forward-looking transport options and a failure to recognise the potential of sailing transport. The huge, self-built sailing ship in Costa Rica will provide truly sustainable transport due to its capacity, modern technology and grandiose concept. We will be looking at this topic in more depth shortly and will provide our calculations of the impact from coffee flower to coffee bag. Immer wieder hört man Verwunderung darüber, dass der Feminismus auf einmal gar nicht mehr nur für Frauen sondern plötzlich für alle da ist.
